James Willis



James Willis has a BA Hons in Fine Art and Music as well as an MA in the History of Art. His works are in private and public collections including with the Soane Museum (where he was the Resident Artist for some years), Luton Hoo Hotel and the Bentham Collection.  

He lectures on painting techniques and concepts, Georgian Architectural Drawing and its historical context, the development of British Art in the 18thcentury and art in Renaissance Venice. A number of his master classes – tackling oil and watercolour painting -can be viewed on YouTube.
